East Coast supermarket chain ShopRite has recently launched its second annual Designed to Fight Hunger reusable bag contest in all 250 locations in CT, DE, NJ, NY, and PA. The Designed to Fight Hunger contest is part of ShopRite’s ongoing initiative that provides nearly $3 million annually to qualified charitable agencies to support the fight against hunger.
The reusable bag challenge invites you to create an original design for a reusable shopping bag. Each submission is judged by a panel that includes last year’s design winner, Katrice Sylvester of Williamstown, NJ. The winning reusable bag design will have their bag manufactured and sold in all 250 ShopRite locations plus an additional $2,500 cash prize and a matching $2,500 donation to his or her local food bank.
To learn more or to submit your design, visit BagDesignContest.com before December 31.
